Herley Awarded an $8.2 Million Contract for a U.S. Electronic Attack Aircraft

Herley New England will provide Complex Integrated Microwave Assemblies to a U.S. Prime Contractor

LANCASTER, Pa., March 5 / Herley Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: HRLY) announced today that its Herley New England division in Woburn, Massachusetts, has received an award valued at more than $8.2 million from a major U.S. defense contractor to manufacture complex Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMA) for an electronic attack aircraft for the U. S. Navy.

Herley's Chairman and CEO, Myron Levy, said, "Herley New England is a center of excellence for the design and manufacture of highly complex microwave assemblies, and has supported the U.S. electronic attack mission capability for a number of years. This contract represents the fourth production award for an important program from the same valued customer."
